HARLEQUINS 28, WIGAN WARRIORS 47: Wigan came from 12 points down in the second half to get their Super League campaign off to a winning start.
Quins led 28-16 after 52 minutes following two tries from Matt Gafa, and one each from Mark McLinden, Scott Hill and Henry Paul.
But Wigan sprung into life with scores from Harrison Hansen, Darrell Goulding, Iafeta Paleaaesina, Michael McIlorum and a debut try from Richard Mathers.
Pat Richards kicked impeccably with nine goals from nine attempts.
The margin of the victory was flattering for the Warriors, who were inconsistent at times.
