The 33-year-old prop defied Wire's England and Great Britain international defenders Daryl Clark and Joe Philbin by running flat towards his dummy half and then straightening up at the last moment to crash over from short range.

Leigh are Sidlow's fifth professional club having joined from Toronto Wolfpack, where he spent four seasons before previous spells with Bradford Bulls, Salford Red Devils, Widnes Vikings and Workington Town.
