The line-up for the 2018/19 Championship has now been confirmed.

Fulham saw off Aston Villa in the Championship play-off final on Saturday, courtesy of a Tom Cairney strike, to book their place in the top flight next season.

So while Villa will be staying down, Rotherham United will be coming up as they secured an extra-time win over Shrewsbury Town, meaning all three teams relegated from the Championship in 2016/17 were promoted back to the second tier at the first attempt.

Rovers, along with Wigan and the Millers, will join the Championship as will the three relegated Premier League sides, West Bromwich Albion, Stoke City and Swansea City.

It means that of the 24 teams playing in the Championship next season, only five haven’t played in the Premier League.

The fixtures for next season will be released on Thursday, June 21 (9am)
