Rovers youngster Joe Nuttall has been shortlisted for the Premier League 2 player of the season.
Nuttall was a key member of Damien Johnson's side as they lifted the Premier League 2 Division Two title, losing just twice all season.
The 21-year-old, who arrived last summer after leaving Aberdeen, netting more goals than any player in Under-23s football in 2017/18 with 14 in all.
He also netted a further three times in cup competitions, as well as scoring five times for Rovers' first team.
The former Manchester City youngster was to score on his Checkatrade Trophy, FA Cup and League One debuts.
Nuttall, who impressed on trial to earn himself a deal with Rovers, saw that extended in January as he looks set for a bright future at Ewood Park.
He has been shortlisted for the prestigious prize by the Premier League Football Development Panel, who will decide the winner, which will be revealed at the Youth Development Conference Gala Dinner on Thursday, May 17.
Nuttall is up against some of the country's hottest young prospects for the award, which includes Tyrese Campbell (Stoke City), Rushian Hepburn-Murphy (Aston Villa), Reiss Nelson (Arsenal), Edward Nketiah (Arsenal), Lukas Nmecha (Manchester City), Harry Wilson (Liverpool).
