It took a late, late goal from substitute Danny Nolan to rescue a point for the Magpies against Harrogate RA.
Chorley, still smarting from Tuesday night's shambolic result at Trafford, took the lead on 10 minutes through Adam Farrell.
But the visitors, without a win so far this year, scored twice after the break and looked to have condemned Tony Hesketh's side to another defeat before Nolan popped up in stoppage time to snatch the draw.
