Matchroom Sport supremo Barry Hearn hailed the signing of American megastar Simone Biles to his major new Superstars Of Gymnastics event at The O2, North Greenwich on March 29 2019 as a massive coup, writes Ziad Chaudry.

The 21-year-old pint-sized sensation from Houston, Texas, USA, who won four golds at 2016 Rio Olympic Games, headlines Hearn's latest sporting venue which will showcase the very best gymnastics has to offer.

"It took six months to get her!," said Hearn as his hard work to lure Biles back to London eventually paid off. "It's the first time that she's been in London. She came to London to be on the squad for the 2012 Olympics, obviously won in 2016."

Britain's two-time 2016 Rio Olympic and 2018 Commonwealth Games gold medalist Max Whitlock will also appear and Hearn promised he will be revealing some more big names very soon in this Sky Sports televised event.

"It's a massive day of gymnastics and we are now putting together the real superstars of gymnastics for that weekend," he continued. "It's going to be spectacular."
