STONYHURST College has clinched a ‘double’ at the Lancashire County Rugby finals.
The talented under 14s team won the Lancashire Cup after overpowering Morecambe in the final, running out 37-15 winners.
And Stonyhurst under 16s A were equally as impressive to lift the Plate following a 45-3 win over Arnold College.
For the under 14s team, it seals an outstanding season having won all 17 of their games and winning three sevens tournaments at Rydal, Merchant Taylors and Hymers College.
