BURNLEY drew 2-2 with Accrington Stanley in a friendly played behind closed doors at Gawthorpe yesterday.
Dean Marney scored twice as Burnley recovered from a 2-0 half-time deficit against Stanley yesterday, with Laws feeling the Clarets were still feeling the effects of their flight back from Singapore in the first half.
“We started off a bit sluggishly and looked like we had just got off the plane,” said Clarets boss Brian Laws.
“But we came back well and could have scored more, and I was pleased with that.
“I was glad that we got it out of our system, we got rid of the rustiness and now we can start producing.”
Martin Paterson returned from injury.
