BACUP boss Brent Peters gave debuts to eight new players and it was one of his new boys, Ashley Higgins, who sealed victory.
After Lee Oldham twice went close to opening the scoring, Luke Hargreaves blasted Bacup in to a 35th minute lead with a long range free kick before Higgins settled matters, latching on to a through ball from Josh Lynch in the second half.
