BARNOLDSWICK cricket club will begin the 2010 Ribblesdale League season away from their Victory Park ground after drainage problems.
They will play their first game of the season tomorrow – but instead of hosting Settle at Victory Park, they will borrow Colne’s Horsfield for the clash.
They will then play Padiham later this month at Skipton CC.
Club coach Danny Kegg says Barlick will be happy to finally get home.
“It is unfortunate that we are not playing at home to start with,” said Kegg.
“But we are an ambitious club and we want to upgrade our ground and facilities to match.”
Barlick have high hopes this season and as well as recruiting Kegg from Nelson, they have also snapped-up ex Seedhill skipper Khurram Nazir.
