Captain: Ian Britcliffe. Professional: Agha Sabir (Pakistan). Last year: 9.
Ian Britcliffe: Our main aim, like anyone else’s, is to try and finish higher than we did last year.
"Last year was stop start and we had to use sub-pros until Jake Brown arrived but didn’t really get as many runs as he would have hoped despite his record breaking start.
"We are looking pretty good and our professional seems to have a decent record back in Pakistan.
"I have been at this club for 30 years and I am as excited about this season as I have been about any other.
"It’s a tough start with Baxenden on Saturday - but it is also a good test."
Matt Donlan’s prediction: 12.
