BLACKBURN coach John Morgan praised the battling spirit of his side after coming back from the dead for a hard-earned point at Tyldesley.
Blackburn were 14-0 down after just 10 minutes but battled back to 17-12 down at the break. The home side led 20-15 up until the last play until Craig Diggle crashed over in the corner.
Paul Bleasdale hit the post with the resulting conversion to deny Blackburn the win.
“The lads were magnificent,” said Morgan. “To come back showed a true fighting spirit.”
