Accrington Stanley managing director Dave O’Neill has confirmed that the Reds have paid their outstanding debt to HM Revenue and Customs.
Stanley had been issued with a winding up order, scheduled for the High Court on February 3, over another unpaid sum last Friday.
Stanley narrowly avoided going out of business in October because of a £308,000 tax bill when Ilyas Khan stepped in to pay the debt.
