NEW shelters have been put up at Turf Moor for Burnley’s disabled supporters.
The new shelters, which will be in use for the first time for the match against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday will provide cover and added protection in the existing locations at the Jimmy McIlroy and James Hargreaves stands.
Burnley FC Stadium manager Doug Metcalfe said: “We would like to thank all parties involved in the fund raising and installation of these shelters.
“The Clarets Trust have played a major role, as have supporters clubs and, in particular, Peter Baron of the Accrington Clarets, who has been a driving force behind this initiative.”
