MICHAEL Duff has been ruled out of Burnley's game at Sheffield United this afternoon after being injured in the warm-up.
Steven Thompson is recalled to the side in the absence of the defender, while defensive midfielder Remco van der Schaaf is named on the bench.
The change has prompted a major re-shuffle for the Clarets, who are without the suspended Clarke Carlisle.
Graham Alexander switches to left back, Stephen Jordan moves to centre half alongside Steven Caldwell, with Wade Elliott in an unfamiliar right-back role.
