THE postponement of Accrington Stanley's clash with Brentford will be a disappointment for captain Peter Cavanagh, who may have returned to action after eight weeks out with Achilles problems.
John Coleman said ahead of the postponement: “Peter has trained a couple of times this week so hopefully he’ll be back in contention.
“It’s one of those where we’re trying to delay an operation.
"If he doesn’t come through this week then he might have to have the operation, which will keep him out until the best part of February or March.”
* Robbie Williams will be out for eight more weeks following a knee operation.
