RAMSBOTTOM United crashed to their fifth defeat in six league and cup outings after slumping at home to Ashton Athletic.
Andy Feeley’s men were undone with 15 minutes to go, with Ashton teenager David Sherlock grabbing the only goal of ther game.
Ramsbottom are back in action on Wednesday against Daisy Hill in the Lancashire FA Co-Op Challenge Trophy.
