ACCRINGTON Stanley boss John Coleman praised his players after snatching a late equaliser against Notts County on Saturday.

Sean Canham capitalised on Peter Cavanagh's error to give County the lead two minutes from time.

But, in stoppage time, Jimmy Ryan took full advantage of a defensive mistake at the other end to salvage a point for the Reds.

He said: “I'm a bit disappointed because I expect to win every home we play, but it was a good game and our fans will be happy that we haven't rolled over and died in the last few minutes.

“We never gave up and I thought we were going to nick another right at the end.

"We need to take that attitude into our next game.”

He added: “A draw was possibly the fairest result.

"They had all the play in the second half, but I thought we dominated the first half.

“But these are games we should be winning.”
