Cast members of a play that deals with apartheid in South Africa met up with Blackburn Rovers striker Benni McCarthy at Brockhall.

The visit was organised by Blackburn Cathedral staff behind the play Cry the Beloved Country, which was performed at the cathedral last week.

Asithandile, Siv, Sibz and Sikose Mjali, who live in the Grimshaw Park area of Blackburn, came to the town five years ago when their mother was offered a job as a nurse.
