BLACKBURN Rovers Ryan Nelsen admits the odds are now stacked heavily against the club in the race for an Intertoto place after the way the results panned out at the weekend.
Carlos Tevez's late equaliser for Manchester United against Rovers, coupled with victories for Aston Villa and Manchester City, leaves Rovers with a mountain to climb during the final three games of the season.
Nelsen said: "The next three games are so important but at least it means the season won't die out.
"We've basically got to get three wins and it's just another goal to go for.
"In the end, even three wins might not be enough, but we'll give it a go and keep battling hard."
