The Lancashire League season starts this weekend. Here, Lancashire Telegraph Sport looks at Lowerhouse.
- Captain: Jon Finch
- Professional: Brendan Drew
- Last season: 9th
- Ins: Will Driver and Matt Dougherty (both Read)
- Outs: Ryan Clegg (Haslingden)
Chairman Dave Wren: "We've got a side capable of winning both trophies this season.
"We missed three key players last season through injury - Jonny Russell, Chris Bleazard and Chris Benbow - but we've got them all back this time around, and that will give us a big boost because they are all experienced.
"And we've added Will Driver and Matt Dougherty from Read to strengthen what is already a good side.
"We're especially excited about Will. He's a top all-round talent, and is with the Lancashire Academy, so he should develop even further with us.
"We're also excited about our Australian professional Brendan Drew.
"We've been watching his progress for a while, and our professional from last season, Ryan Harris, was at the Australian Academy with him, so we used him as a reference.
"He only arrived yesterday, but I'm sure he'll settle in quickly."
