Rovers’ home game with Brentford have been brought forward after selection by Sky Sports.

The Ewood fixture will now take place on Friday, March 12 (7.45pm) and broadcast live.

The game between the sides in December at Brentford ended in a 2-2, while Rovers have won both Ewood fixtures 1-0 since promotion back to the Championship.

Bradley Dack scored the winner in the last Ewood meeting in December 2019, while a Kasey Palmer goal helped them to victory in August 2018.

It is the second time in 10 days that Rovers will have a game live on Sky Sports, with the fixture at Reading on Tuesday, March 2 (7.45pm) already selected by the broadcaster.

Rovers, yet to record a point in February, finish off the month with home games against Watford on Wednesday and then Coventry City on Saturday.

They then face a tough run of six fixtures in 18 days before the international break on March 12.

They travel to Reading on March 2 and Millwall four days later, before three successive home games following the re-arrangement of the Swansea City game (March 9).

That is followed by Brentford (March 12) and Bristol City (March 17) and they head into the two week break on the back of a trip to Norwich City (March 20).
