Forest Green Rovers will welcome season ticket holders back to The New Lawn on Saturday for their Sky Bet League Two match with Bradford City.

Alongside other EFL clubs, the club were approached by the EFL on Tuesday morning with a view of hosting a pilot event this weekend – and were required to submit a decision by 2pm.

FGR has put in an exceptional amount of work into planning for the return of fans, and were encouraged by the opportunity to allow season ticket holders into the stadium for the test event.

There will be no ticket sales on the day of the match or advanced – and only those who have purchased a season ticket by 3pm on Thursday will be admitted.

Bradford City supporters will not be granted access to the stadium, and the club will be carrying out checks on season ticket sales.

Appropriate measures have been applied at The New Lawn, with both standing terraces and seating arrangements ready to welcome supporters this weekend.

Supporters will be required to wear a face covering at all times – and will receive seating arrangement details in the coming days.

All supporters will be temperature checked on arrival to The New Lawn.

If any fans have developed any Covid-19 symptoms, the club ask that you do not attend the match.

There will be no catering outlets or bars open on Saturday – but fans will be allowed to bring their own food and non-alcoholic drinks into the stadium.

More details will be announced in due course.
