Season tickets for Rovers’ 2020/21 campaign are now on sale – priced at £399 in all lower tiers of the ground.

Rovers started their Championship campaign last weekend, with defeat at Bournemouth, with the first of their 23 home matches coming on Saturday against newly-promoted Wycombe Wanderers.

The club had hoped to welcome supporters in to that fixture as part of a ‘pilot game’, but that now appears unlikely, as the club awaits further information on welcoming back fans.

But they hope to have a level of capacity back inside Ewood from next month, with season tickets on sale as of 10am via https://www.eticketing.co.uk/onerovers where details of a payment plan can be found.

Season tickets will remain on sale until October 2.

With the club governed by social distancing guidelines, a uniform pricing structure has been set in the Riverside stand, as well as the Blackburn End lower tier and the Jack Walker Stand lower tier, of £399 for adults.

For seniors the price is £269, £179 for 18-23-year-olds, £90 for Under-18s while Under-12s tickets are £60.

There is a price increase for fans wanting to sit in the upper wings, or centre, of the Jack Walker Stand Upper.

The club have also introduced a ‘Diamond Club’ season ticket, which will be situated in the Jack Walker Stand upper tier, priced at £599. That includes access to the Directors’ Guest Lounge and the manager’s post-match press conference in the Media Theatre.

The 23 home matches will be available to season ticket holders either in the stadium, or via the iFollow platform should they continue to be played behind closed doors. The seven midweek away fixtures will also be included, but not the away games which fall on a weekend.

The club say: “Whilst we await further information from the Government and the EFL regarding the possible staging of a ‘pilot game’ at Ewood Park, Rovers remain hopeful that an agreed number of supporters will be allowed back into the stadium from October.”

Any Ewood match in which supporters are unable to due to COVID-19 restrictions will be compensated with an iFollow pass, as well as having a pro-rata rate of £7.34 for an adult season pass taken off their 2020/21 season ticket, but that will only apply to adult and senior tickets.

The club added: “Should the number of Season Passes sold fit within the stadium capacity restrictions, the club will not be issuing any free iFollow Rovers match passes for Season Pass holders to watch games from home and supporters will not be entitled to a pro-rata refund.

“If the amount of Season Pass holders is greater than the number of supporters permitted inside the stadium, the club will conduct a ballot to allocate tickets, with priority given to supporters who purchased premium seats.”

While supporters will be given the option to choose which seat they would wish to sit in when purchasing a season ticket, social distancing regulations mean the club cannot guarantee that will be the seat they sit in, which is why prices are the same in the lower tiers of the ground.

The Darwen End lower will be used as an overspill for supporters who buy a lower tier ticket should it be required.

“The club recognises the challenges the pandemic poses for football fans and families both in Blackburn and the wider community, and that certain factors regarding a safe return to the stadium remain unclear at this stage, and we thank supporters for their patience and understanding during this unprecedented period,” Rovers added.

“But rest assured, We Are Together in our desire to come through these tough times in a healthy and positive place both on and off the pitch, and to give Tony Mowbray and his team all the support they need to help Rovers achieve its aims this season.”
