ROBBIE Brady has had his Burnley contract extended for another year.
The Republic of Ireland international winger was potentially out of contract in the summer but the Clarets have exercised a one-year option in his deal to keep him at Turf Moor until June 2021.
Brady joined the Clarets as the club’s then-record buy from Norwich City in January 2017 and has since made 63 appearances, 15 of those coming this season.
His three years at the club have been hit by injury with Dwight McNeil taking his chance to shine on Burnley’s left wing.
The 28-year-old resumed training with the Clarets squad earlier this week as the Premier League target a resumption next month.
