Burnley will look to continue their fine Premier League form at Newcastle on Saturday.

From likely line-ups to key men and the referee all you need to know can be found below.

Key battle

With changes afoot for Newcastle it is a tricky game to prepare for. Word from the north east is that dangerman Allan Saint-Maximin could on the right of a new-look 4-2-3-1 formation, but Charlie Taylor has been in fine form for Burnley this season and won’t be intimidated.

Last meeting

A second-half goal from Chris Wood - a header from an Ashley Westwood corner - was enough to separate the teams and boost Burnley after a run of three straight losses as they inflicted a first defeat in four games on Newcastle. Ashley Westwood’s corner found Wood, who headed home his seventh Premier League goal of the season to lift the Clarets six points clear of the bottom three.

Referee

Andy Madley – Has shown 65 yellow cards and six red in 19 games this season. Last took charge of a Clarets game in the Championship in 2016.

Likely line-ups

Newcastle: Dubravka; Yedlin, Lascelles, Lejeune, Rose; Shelvey, Bentaleb; Saint-Maximin, Almiron, Joelinton; Gayle.

Burnley: Pope; Bardsley, Tarkowski, Mee, Taylor; Hendrick, Westwood, Cork, McNeil; Rodriguez, Vydra.

Odds

Burnley are the 2/1 favourites to continue their good run of form by earning a rare win at St James’ Park. Newcastle are priced 6/4 while it’s 21/10 for the stalemate. Matej Vydra is a 7/1 shot to continue his scoring streak with the opening goal.
