NORWICH’s flying Fin is the man of the moment ahead of their trip to Turf Moor.

After starring in the Canaries Championship title win, Teemu Pukki has six goals in his first five top flight appearances this season.

That includes a hat-trick against Newcastle and goals against Liverpool and Chelsea, both in defeat, and Manchester City, in a memorable 3-2 victory for Daniel Farke’s men last time out.

Sitting behind only Sergio Aguero and Tammy Abraham in the early season goalscoring charts, Pukki was the winner of the first Premier League player of the month prize of the campaign.

The former Celtic man arrived at Carrow Road on a free transfer from Brondby back in the summer of 2018 and went on to score 30 goals in all competitions.

His form this season has also carried on when on international duty, Pukki scoring in Finland’s win over Greece and defeat to Italy.

So does Sean Dyche had anything special in mind to keep the 29-year-old on the fringes of today’s game at Turf Moor?

“To be fair to our defensive unit, they’ve played against some very, very good players in the Premier League,” Dyche said.

“I think we make our players aware of some of the strengths of the opposition but it’s certainly not about one player.

“They’re a decent side, without doubt, and they’re learning all the time, but when you think about some of the teams in the Premier League and some of the centre forwards, I think he’s in good company but he’s got to earn his spurs against that kind of company.”
