ON Saturday Westleigh CC 1XI recorded their first ever victory against Greenmount with a nerve racking one-wicket victory.
Rob Entwistle starred with the bat top scoring with 48 after Jameel Stuart and Andy Lloyd and earlier took 4 wickets each to restrict Greenmount to 141.
The 2nd team lost another tight affair at The Pingot versus the same opposition by five runs despite heroics with bat and ball from James Wilkinson
On Sunday the firsts reached their second successive GMCL League Cup Final with a four-wicket win over Stretford.
The main contributors were Rob Entwistle (50), Jameel Stuart (43 & 4-23) and Adam Barclay (2-16)
