ROMMY Boco is backing Accrington Stanley to dump their inconsistent tag and beat Macclesfield Town on Friday night.

Stanley can jump to eighth position in League Two if they manage to chalk up three points against the Silkmen at the Fraser Eagle Stadium.

So far this season, the Reds have failed to register back-to-back wins, but midfielder Boco believes that will all change.

"We are doing quite well. We need to win more games consecutively, because it's been win, lose, win, lose," said the 22-year-old Benin international.

"But I think we can do that now. We have Macclesfield on Friday and if we win, it will be good for us because we will be in the top 10 of the league.

"I think we can progress because we are confident and its still early in the league."

Boco, who has just returned from helping Benin qualify for next year's African Cup of Nations, is hoping to play his part against Macclesfield.

He added: "I've come back from injury and I want to get my chance again back in the team."
