Padiham came back from behind twice in Saturday's Vodkat NWCFL Challenge Trophy tie away at Ashton Athletic.
But on chances and possession, the Storks felt unlucky not to have won the tie at the first attempt.
Paul McVeigh put Ashton ahead on 30 minutes, a lead they kept until the last minute of normal time when Dave Holt equalised to send the game into extra-time.
Ashton regained the lead through Chris Almond on 97 minutes.
But Padiham grabbed a late equaliser through Holt to take the tie to a replay.
Padhiam played the last 40 minutes of the game with 10 men, after Matt Woods recieved a red card 10 minutes before the end of normal time.
