We asked our Rovers fans' jury: What would be the perfect January transfer window for the club?

Losing Bradley Dack would certainly taint any possible imaginative deals that Rovers completed.

My priority, however, would be to bring in an experienced full back together with a central defender possessing some charisma and leadership qualities.

I would also be scouring the leagues for a proven strike partner for Danny Graham.

I feel we have enough young players with expensive "potential" and the time is right to consolidate rather than experiment.

I would assume that Mr Mowbray will have little money available and therefore loan deals will dominate the proceedings.

We certainly need some activity this January to continue building and continue the momentum. I appreciate it's a hard window but surely not for loan signings as, like us, managers have assessed their squads now and know who is surplus.

Tony Mowbray must aim high and root out the greatest talents and prospects available. The other option is bidding for players who are coming to the end of contracts.

I think we're weak out wide in both full back and wing positions and would like to see us bring in a commanding centre half and striker, which is not Sam Gallagher, more like Kieffer Moore of Barnsley.

Outgoing, very little, except our youngsters being loaned out more carefully where they will play games and learn the intensity of first team football, whatever the division.

First things first, keeping hold of our important players. The main one being Bradley Dack. I don’t anticipate him leaving this window, but it’s still important that we aren’t tempted to cash in on our talisman just yet.

In terms of incomings, a striker to provide some more competition for Graham and Brereton is needed, as well as an out an out winger. Craig Conway has shown the benefits of playing with one this season, and with him getting older, I would like to see Rovers bring in someone of that ilk.

Harrison Reed being brought in on a permanent deal is also something I feel that Rovers should pursue, he has been a revelation since coming to the club, and is the sort of player that can help push us on to the next level.

The main thing is that we improve the squad, and if Rovers can do that, then I’d regard that as a perfect window.
