Accrington Stanley will face Bury at home in the last 16 of the Checkatrade Trophy.

The draw, made on Saturday lunchtime, saw John Coleman's side handed another home tie against League Two side Bury.

The two teams last met in this competition in September 2015 when the Shakers won 2-1 at the Wham Stadium.

Coleman will welcome another home tie for the Reds who reached the last-16 of the competition after a penalty shoot-out victory over Lincoln City on Tuesday night following a 2-2 draw.

It means Coleman’s side are now just three games from what would be a first Wembley appearance in the club’s history.

The third round draw was regionalised, but from the quarter final stage,  the competition becomes nationwide with League One leaders Portsmouth and Chelsea Under-21s among the sides still in in the southern section.
