BURNLEY are searching for a technical director to work with boss Sean Dyche.
The Lancashire Telegraph understands football recruitment experts Nolan Partners are leading the search for the new role.
It is understood the technical director will have a major role in recruitment at Turf Moor.
The summer transfer window brought frustration for Burnley, with all three new additions in Joe Hart, Ben Gibson and Matej Vydra arriving in the week before the window closed.
Dyche has since voiced his disappointment in the fact only three new faces arrived, when he was hoping for more as the Clarets prepared for an assault on the Europa League and the Premier League.
Nolan Partners' website confirms they are leading the search for a technical director at a 'Premier League club'.
