CLARETS reporter Tyrone Marshall hands out the ratings from Burnley's 4-0 win over Bournemouth.

Joe Hart 8

A number of routine saves but a key one at 2-0 when he used his legs to keep out Brooks effort. Looks close to being back to his best.

Matt Lowton 7

Booked for a rash tackle in the first half as he stretched for the ball, but solid performer in a much better defensive display

James Tarkowski 7

Lucky to get away with leaving ball v Wilson in the first half. Few risky moments but grew in stature as game went on

Ben Mee 7

Distribution occasionally wayward but good defensively and kept the dangerous Wilson very well shackled

Charlie Taylor 6

Better than a week ago but found life tough at times against Brooks, whose movement and confidence on the ball posed problems.

Aaron Lennon 8 (Man of the Match)

First Premier League goal since March 5, 2016, and he took it really well with a good run. Offered Taylor protection in the second half and then used his pace to counter well when space opened up and set up the two late goals. Best game of the season.

Jack Cork 6

Better than he has been of late but looked a touch off the pace as the game went on. No surprise if he needs a rest.

Ashley Westwood 8

Unlucky to be dropped last week but responded in style. Broke up play well and inadvertently set up opener with deflected shots from a good position

Johann Berg Gudmundsson 8

Looked off the pace a week ago but much better here. Seemed to enjoy being on the right and back to his creative best

Matej Vydra 7

Another quick impact from the £11million man. In the right place to convert first half chance and showed encouraging signs

Sam Vokes 7

First half chance from Gudmundsson’s corner, but helped set opener up with a header down to Westwood in the box
