NELSON racked up a club record 350-3 in their commanding 208-run Lancashire League win over a Rawtenstall side who were playing without a professional.

David Crotty his 139 while sub pro Daryn Smit made 108 all out and Lewis Bradley 64 in an imposing total.

In reply, Tabassum Aziz made 61 but it was always a tall order for Rawtenstall and so it proved as Neil Thompson took 3-18 and Caleb Grant 3-20.

Todmorden batsman Ben Pearson continued his fine season as he passed 500 runs for the campaign with an amateur club record 152 not out against Milnrow.

Tod made 291-2 as Pearson and professional Chris Schofield (88) shared a club record stand of 237 for the third wicket.

Schofield then took 3-61 to restrict the visitors to 219-8 in reply.

Three Great Harwood players made half centuries in their 26-run win over Bacup.

The home side were bowled out for 122 and Clitheroe captain Jack Dewhurst saw his side home with a blockbuster 61 from just 26 balls.

Lower order runs from Dave Bowden (36 not out) and Reece Davies (26 not out) helped Darwen beat Middleton by four wickets.

Having posted 174 all out, Middleton had the Towers in trouble at 112-6 only for Bowden and Davies to steady the ship and secure the win.
