CLITHEROE manager Neil Reynolds is keeping his fingers crossed that sharpshooter Chris Ward is back to face Skelmersdale tomorrow.
Ward suffered from the flu last week and was sorely missed as the Blues missed a host of chances in their 1-0 defeat at Brigg Town.
But the former Birmingham City frontman may be able to shake off the illness to give Clitheroe a timely boost.
Reynolds revealed that former Joel Byrom's short stay at Clitheroe could be over, with a clutch of Conference North and UniBond Premier Division sides keen to snap up the former Accrington Stanley midfielder.
