BLACKBURN Rovers goalkeeper Peter Enckelman is on the road to success in a new sport.
The Finnish international has set up his own team to compete in the 2007 British Touring Car Championship.
Known as Encke Sport, the team will be based in the Salford Quays area of Greater Manchester, making Oulton Park their home circuit for the UK's biggest championship on four wheels.
"I've been a huge fan of the BTCC since coming to the UK," said Enckelman.
"It's the Premiership of motor sport and the only thing bigger is F1, so to be a part of it is a dream come true.
"Obviously I'll put the effort into the team as I have done into my football.
"No doubt some of the other players will be joining me at many of the rounds."
