Steve Cotterill admits November has proved a tough month for his Burnley side against the Championship's big-hitters.

Defeat to Birmingham on Saturday followed previous losses for the Clarets at league leaders Cardiff and promotion favourites West Brom.

He said: "We've had Cardiff and West Brom away from home and the game we then play at home is Birmingham. That's tough for us at Burnley.

"Birmingham have got some quality players, make no bones about it.

"Bendtner is probably the best centre-forward in the division.

"I haven't seen anybody better than him this season. He was first class.

"He's got great feet, with good heading ability, courage and vision.

"He didn't mind a challenge for such a young lad.

"Muamba is another one, and Sebastian Larsson. No wonder those three are at Arsenal.

"It's handy having them with the mob they have already got there."
