Carl Lomax has signed for Ramsbottom United, and the former Rossendale United striker could be thrown straight into the team for tomorrow's home game against Flixton.
Manager Lee Sculpher said: "Hopefully he will bring the finishing touch.
"In the past he's had a very good scoring record and we hope that continues with us."
Anthony Johnson is out with a shoulder injury and Lee Cryer (dead leg) and Chris Nestor (ankle) are both doubtful.
