AROUND 2,500 Blackburn Rovers fans descended on a Dutch city for the club's UEFA Cup clash against Feyenoord yesterday.
The travelling support was the club's record for an away European game.
And many fans were expected to stay in the area over the coming days for stag do-style trips.
Rovers fans were warned to stay out of Rotterdam centre by police due to potential trouble from Feyenoord hooligans.
Blackburn supporters were ushered into the Rotterdam district of Oude Haven where they soaked up the atmosphere in the area's bars.
After years of misery in Europe, Rovers fans were finally starting to enjoy continental competition after the club's good start to the UEFA Cup group stages.
