Missing something in life? Feel as though you've not quite got it all together?

A recent poll revealed this to be a major abiding human feeling today.

We have seven great needs in life, modern psychologists tell us.

The top three involve having enough to eat, in a place called home which, in turn, gives us security.

Once survival is assured, we can then aim to fulfil the next three human requirements involving the body (health, fitness, recreation), the heart (relationships, belonging, family) and the mind (learning, careers, interests).

The fully-rounded human is completed with the ultimate inner and spiritual relationship with his/her Maker.

We see all needs met in man's first dwelling place, a garden called Eden, according to the opening book of the Bible.

I wonder if that's why Eden is 'need' expressed another way.

Here, God made man and then took him on a tour of his incredible creation.

Adam claimed and named everything, yet still not all his needs were satisfied.

Adam had an intimate, ongoing relationship with his Creator yet, amazingly, still something was missing.

The human design was eventually completed with the arrival of a female version.

"Whoopee," hollered an excited and fulfiled Adam on waking to find Eve, "at last, this bone of my bone."

Missing something? Why not go back to square one?

Come back to Eden, invites God, and check out why your life's not paradise.
