AT last! The use of wild animals is to be outlawed by the Government.
I was relieved to read in the LT that animal welfare minister Jim Fitzpatrick agrees banning wild animals to perform in travelling circuses because it is unacceptable.
No animal should ever be captured for any circus in the UK or abroad. They belong in their own environment. Thank goodness the UK has made a start.
