I WRITE in response to the news that Camelot theme park will be closing in the near future.
The theme park is the only one in the North West to offer a secure area for children and is a true family park.
It is also the only true theme park in the country and is indeed ideally situated, as Excalibur is alleged to have been thrown into Martin Mere.
Whilst it does not have the large attractions that Blackpool and Alton Towers boasts, it more than makes up for it in charm and the diversity of its attractions, including the petting farm and the shows which are excellent.
And at only £35 for a season pass and free parking, it is ideal value for money.
