Being a frequent walker in our beautiful woods and moorland, I am staggered at the number of polythene bags, discarded by dog walkers.
They have made the effort to pick up their dogs’ poo and place it in a bag – only to then discard the bag. Do these dog owners, who appear to care for the environment by removing the poo in the first place, not realise that if they throw the bag away, the bag will still be there in 50 years’ time?
Please remember to take it home and bin it.
