The price of oil is as low as it has been for a while. The oil companies have simply jacked their prices up and the government will not do anything as they rake in extra VAT for every increase.
We are hitting 119.9p a litre in some areas now, soon we will be paying £1.50. Ask any of the main party candidates what they propose to do or say, and you will find they shy away from the issue.
I have to wonder just how much more working people can take. The cost of going to work is becoming prohibitive. I hope the greenies who are gloating in this so-called planet-saving measure will realise the stupidity of their policies when people stop and say, enough is enough. Every green policy comes with a threat to fine you if you don’t do it their way.
Why is the price of fuel always higher in Britain than the rest of Europe? Maybe the government should cap the prices and give people a break, or even live within its means.
There is a party that will take on the petrol companies and fight your corner. Together we can make a difference.
