IN reply to Meeshka’s letter (LT, Feb 23) about Great Harwood Show, I really hope she hasn't ‘given up the ghost’ on the show as the committee have been working very hard to keep our wonderful heritage going!
This year – its 143rd – is a very exciting time for the show as we will be on our newly-purchased showfield which is more than four times the size of the old one with lots of new additions and attractions!
We are also very grateful to the many competitors and visitors who have stuck with us through a few difficult years – roll on Spring Bank Holiday Monday!
