I FIND it rather disgusting that Adam Crozier - the Royal Mail chief was paid a staggering £3million last year, making him the highest paid public worker in Britain.
I am all for success being rewarded but as far as I can see he has been a utter failure in his position.
He has closed 4,600 post offices and intends to shut 2,500 more.
He has abolished the second post.
The first post now does not arrive until the afternoon.
Fifteen million letters a year are lost.
The universal postal service lost £100million last year.
Stamp prices under his stewardship have risen by more than a third.
If he was a football manager Mr Crozier would have been sacked long ago.
Why in Britain is failure so well rewarded?
