THE Singing, Ringing Tree. Does anyone know where it is?
We arrived in Burnley to see this structure and we asked about 10 local people, none of whom had heard of it.
We saw up in the hills what could possibly be this structure, followed our instincts and we asked at an ambulance station, and the nice lady there had never heard of it.
My sister, who comes from Canada, had seen it on a news programme and saw it being opened and wanted to see it.
Well, after 90 minutes we arrived there thanks to a delivery van driver who was delivering to a pub.
I would like to say it is a sad reflection on Burnley not to shout about the spectacular singing, ringing tree.
It was well worth the car journey from Chester, and Canada, to see and hear it, but how about putting up some signs?
