RE Nick Nunn's column about Blackburn market (LT, March 26). Do we really need howling pop music in market halls and the three-day market?
It is a madhouse. It doesn't encourage you to browse around in the mall, supermarkets or many of the stores.
I like music in the right place but I can't listen and shop. It really is a health hazard.
Much better out of town open air markets which cut out the din and help global warming.
