SURELY, after fitting out a superhospital in Blackburn, a library and TV with bedside telephone connections would have been the sensible finishing touch for all of its patients.
However, the NHS should be able to find a firm to supply a telephone system to suit all at a sensible price with a good replacement service included.
I think private concerns have to be used some time for progress, but we should remember a high profit return must be made to pay investors for their money invested, this is business.
I suggest a commonsense group of people, perhaps who work in the hospital could be formed to spot any pitfalls or trouble in everyday matters.
